Per display issue

Hi,

Congratulations on a beautiful scenery! I especially like the maize fields around Bony, a texture I have not yet seen before in FSX.

However, the grasses around Per are in the form of criss crossing fences, with red lines around them. Is that because I am running it in DX10 preview mode? If so, can they be made to display corrrectly in DX10 mode (which gives me much better FPS)?

Yes most probably it is because of the dx10 setting. We will check what can we do.

AI pack will come most probably this weekend however only for fs9 but it is working in fsx as well if the aircraft shadow is off.

Hi again,

The apron and runway also don't display correctly at dusk and dawn, another typical DX10 problem in some other airport sceneries. However, I also have sceneries which do display correctly in DX10 mode, so it wold be great if your sceneries could also be made to be DX10 compatible in future.

I have checked the DirectX thing on fsdeveloper. To tell the truth I have never dealt with directX 10 because at the beginning they said it should be swithced off. I found a good thread on fsdeveloper where Arno and hcornea (I believe the most experienced FS developer guys) explain why it will never work.

To sum up, if we would use no advanced material setting in the scenery than it could work. But than it means we can not use the grass, the sharp alpha channel transparent textures, the reflection and bump map. I think that is a no go.
