P3D 2.4: No buildings since recent update

Hi,

I have purchased LHBP from Simmarket in December 2014 and installed it into P3D 2.4. It has worked perfectly fine since then. Yesterday (March 28th) I got an email from Simmarket about an updated version, so I went ahead, uninstalled the old version (Build 3 according to the filename) and installed the new one (Build 8 ). Installation went without a hitch, after restarting Windows the activation came up and said that it was successful. However, since then all the buildings are gone at LHBP. The object placer dll is being loaded alright, I've checked the entry in the dll.xml and the menu is there as well in P3D.

Now I thought that this may be a faulty installer, so I again uninstalled LHBP and reinstalled it, this time with the old installer (Build 3). However, I still have no buildings, so it seems the update has broken something...

Any help would be appreciated.

As usual in these cases, the problem has solved itself right after I ask for help.  After simply re-running the installer (the new one, Build 8 ) on top of my existing non-working installation, all the buildings at LHBP are back and looking great.

Hello team

First of all, thank you very much for your hard work. I loved your freeware sceneries on FSX.

I bought LHBP for Prepar3d a few months ago, but immediately run into the problem with the missing buildings. I didn't have much time available, so I didn't pursue it any further.

However, two days ago I installed Prepar3d 2.5 and tried again after downloading Build 8 - unfortunately, the problem is still there. During the first install, I received the error message that no dll.xml was found. I checked that it was there and installed again (after reading what DonQuixote wrote). Unfortunately, that didn't work for me. Still no buildings, no Add-on menu (does that exist on Prepar3d?).

- objectplacer.dll is in the module folder
- dll.xml has the following lines:

<Descr>Launch</Descr>
<Filename>dll.xml</Filename>

So, don't really know what to do. Any help?

How do I start simconnect?

You don't have to run. It is building in into your P3D.  After installing it, the buildings should appaer. Didn't they?
