Title: Error 502 when starting P3D
Post by: WebMaximus on December 01, 2017, 12:15:34 PM
Today I got a message I've never seen before as seen below.

I've tried following the suggestion but even after running this file with a successful outcome I keep getting the same message when I start P3D.

Good to know I'm not the only one and hopefully we will get advice on how to get rid of this error.

Hello, I also get that message, I have even deleted the file LHBP_objectPlacer64 and executed the LHSproductact.exe and it is not solved either. Greetings.

Looking at the amount of posts most people seem affected so let's hope for a response soon from the dev.

Same problem here too.
Soon seen before in Fsx !
The workaround of the FaQ is not a working solution.
How can a scenery I have bought to full price became "obsolete"???

Please can give a definitive solution to this annoying and repetitive problem?

Thanks in advance

Until the developer has presented a real solution to this problem I "fixed" the issue by disabling LHBP in the scenery library.

That way I don't get the error message on every P3D startup without having to perform a full uninstall of LHBP.

Feels a bit odd there's still no input from the developer?

I hope that they are fixing it instead of answering here :)

I'm sure we all hope the dev(s) are already working on fixing the issue but still it wouldn't hurt spending 30 seconds letting everyone in here with this problem know that is the case.

What exactlly do you mean by this?
Is a full reinstall required?
If not please outline what you mean that WE have to do..
Thanks

Sorry, you are right I was not clear, I was in hurry.

Please go to your [FS]\Modules folder and delete the LHBPobjectPlacer.dll or LHBPobjectPlacer64.dll. Than go to your [FS]\Addon scenery\LHS_LHBP_X folder and run the LHSproductact.exe (it should download a new dll into your Modules folder).
