« Last post by krielkip on May 19, 2020, 11:15:33 AM »I did exactly as was told in the video but still no buildings. I even sent an email with 3 logfiles on May 11 but got up till now no reaction from LH Simulations. Why don't you fix this problem that affects all users of LHBP?

The problem is that add-ons.cfg should not be changed by any add-on! Neither does our installer.
If the scenery is installed properly under the Documents P3D v5 Add-ons folder than then the add-ons.cfg is regenated automatically by Prepar3D after the next start. But it seems it does not recreates it just appends the new entry. So if any add-on changed the cfg with wrong encoding, it will remain in wrong encoding after that.
But again, no add-on should mess with add-ons.cfg.

I did investigate with Notepad++ the difference between the orginal add-on.cfg and the new created one. It seems to be the encoding. The original was encoded as UTF-8, while the new one created by P3D has encoding UCS-2 LE BOM. I also suspect some other installer messed up the encoding.
Maybe you can check with the scenery configurator the right encoding, so to prevent the difficult to trace errors like mine.

Could you please try the following. Rename it for something else and P3D by the next start will generate a new one.
It is here: AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5
To open your appdata open a folder browser in the search type %appdata% and enter.
Some success, see attachment! We're getting close now:
-I renamed both add-on.cfg in appdata\roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5 and in \programdata\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5
-I disabled all other addons from the directory documents\Prepar3D v5 Add-ons
-I restarted P3D and let it rebuild the add-on.cfg. Only both LHS directories remained in documents\Prepar3D v5 Add-ons
-Let the LHSimulationsSceneryConfigurator run again
-Restarted P3D again
