Problem with Winter Textures

Good Afternoon,

I'm writing this post to explain a problem with the fantastic scenery of LHBP.

The total Hungary area is green (I've FTX Global) but the major part of the airport remain with winter textures, how could i fix this problem?

We have aligned the season changing with the default FS. Obviously the FTX is not aligned with that. I can't remember what is our setting for winter-time but I think in few days it will change as well.

Unfortunately it changes on April 1st. Completely unrealistic. Still the surrounding photoreal changes to spring beginning with March 1st. So a bit of mismatch. Anyway FTXGlobal is becoming norm in FSX so I believe seasons should be aligned accordingly.

You should install LHS_MAS_X above FTX, and disable od delete the following 6 bgl files:

LC_5214
LC_5215
LC_5314
LC_5315
LC_5414
LC_5415

That is strange the default language is english.

My Colleguae advised to install Hungary Landmarks Pack which changes the season switch of whole Hungary according LHS Budapest, but not to loose FTX the files mentioned has to be deleted from Hungary Landmarks Pack  (MAS FSX).

Guys what you suggest complicates the thing even further. Installing lh landmarks and library puts snow onto the whole of Hungary. It becomes even weirder as it displays snow only above Hungary and not around it.



The mismatch between LHBP_AREAL.bgl and bp_photo_XD.bgl still remains, as the photoreal area turns to spring on 1st of March and the ground poly section which relies to bp_photo_XD.bgl turns spring on 1st of April.



I believe the workaround would be to tweak the  bp_photo_XD.bgl to change to spring on 1st March which is the 60th day of the year i believe. And this would solve the problem for ftx global users also.

Yes some other user reported the same. We will issue an update as soon as possible to correct this.

I have the same problem. Awaiting the fix!

The fix will come in a few days.

Basically we have to change 3 sceneries:

 - Landmarks Pack
 - Debrecen LHDC
 - Budapest LHBP

We messed up a little bit  but we are honest to admit it.

If you purchased LHBP in our webshop, than you can download the new version 1.3 Build 2 from our webshop. At simmarket it may take a while until the guys at simmarket are changing the files.
