Microsoft Flight Simulator DLC
Coming soon!

History:

The Zlin 142 is a two-seat trainer aircraft with a proud heritage dating back to the 1960s, developed to replace the successful Zlin Trener series. The Zlin Z-42, the first in this series, flew on October 17th, 1967. By 1974, the improved Zlin Z-42M entered production with key enhancements, including a constant-speed propeller and a larger tail, borrowed from the four-seat Zlin Z-43.

The Z-142, first flown on December 29th, 1979, brought further improvements such as a larger cockpit canopy and streamlined undercarriage. Capable of limited aerobatic maneuvers, the Z-142 became a versatile trainer for many pilots. It remained in production until the mid-1990s. Following the Z-142, the Z-242 L was introduced with a more powerful Textron Lycoming engine and modern design updates, continuing the legacy of this aircraft family.
